I’m Matt Reynolds, a photographer based in Lynchburg, Virginia, and a graduate of Jacksonville State University, where I earned my BFA in Photography. I currently serve as a Senior Photographer for Liberty University’s Marketing Department, documenting the visual story of campus life from academic milestones to the intensity of athletic competition.
Before joining Liberty, I spent nearly a decade photographing for Jacksonville State University and the University of Arkansas, developing a practice rooted in both documentary storytelling and fine art principles. Those years shaped my approach to image-making, blending precision, patience, and an ongoing study of light and form.
I’m especially drawn to sports photography for the movement, emotion, and timing to capture moments that tell a story.
Outside of photography, I enjoy traveling and hiking with my wife, and this photo was taken by her with me in front of Reynolds Mountain in Glacier National Park.
